Wings of Fire [18]

Phew...
This one was quite the work load. Surprisingly so, more than the last (probably because there are 4 characters rather than 2)

I'm definitely thinking to switch to shorter pages after this one. Pages like these lend to some burnout, I'm gonna be honest.  I made this a long page because this was planned as a self contained "scene" to update where Soarin and Kitty are that I figured didn't need to be drawn out over several pages.  However, I'm realizing the versatility of shorter pages might be just as conducive (and less stressful for me haha). It's a learning experience for sure, so I'm very likely going to try some new things going ahead.

I just took creative liberty with Whiplash's (right) hair and what it might look like. He's of equal rank to Spitfire in my story ie: higher than Soarin's. I have no idea what is actual rank is in the show, it's never mentioned.

Fun fact: 
The Outpost Tower is based on the Pearl Harbor Air Base's control tower ^_^ which is intentional btw for reasons which are probably becoming more and more apparent
